Make up Tips - Weddings
There's nothing worse than looking at your wedding photo's and wondering who that tangoed woman is staring back at you. Your face is going to be on show all day and will be in all your wedding photo's. Making sure you look your best is essential. I have put together a list of tips to help make sure you don't make some of the dreadful mistakes I've seen others make in the past.

1. Your wedding make up should be an enhancement of what you normally wear, if you usually go for the natural look, stick to natural colours.

2. Your fiancé is marrying you he should at least recognize you! This is not the time to try out anything drastic.

3. You should feel comfortable in the make up you are wearing.

4. You should define your features a little bit more than usual, so they show up in photographs.

5. If you are having your make up done professionally, make sure you have a practice run before your big day. A good idea is to have a dress rehearsal and take photos, so you can then check that your make up will look good.

6. Waterproof mascara is a must!

7. You want your make up to last all day. There are some great long lasting make up items which will ensure that you don't need too much of a touch up during the day.

8. Check your jaw line for tide marks.

9. If you are wearing a low cut dress remember to apply make to your chest area to avoid a two toned look.

10. Enjoy your big day!

On the day it's a good idea to keep the following close at hand

1. Cotton buds, to wipe away any smudges under the eyes.

2. Your lipstick, should you need a touch up.

3. Some translucent powder to blot away any sweaty patches.

4. Breath freshener  – alcohol breath is not very attractive.

5. Contact lens solution – if you wear them.

6. Small phial of your perfume.
